Q: What’s your vision for the world of Architecture and Design? How does lauckgroup make a home for that viewpoint?

A: I envision the world of Architecture and Design continuing to evolve and blend into other industries.  At lauckgroup, I am part of a diverse group of Architects and Interior Designers that are innate problem solvers with great aspirations for not just the projects in the office but for the community at large.

Q: What part of your work are you most passionate about? Why?

A: Delivering a cohesive design that makes the client happy, while hopefully introducing them to something new and unexpected.

Q: What is your favorite part of the architecture process?

A: Sketching and brainstorming during the early stages of the project.

Q: Have you practiced other types of architecture? Which one was your favorite? If you haven’t, what type of architecture would you like to explore and why?

A: I’ve worked on different types of Architecture but never on memorials. I have always been fascinated by how these structures are built exclusively to establish a reminder of people or place.

Q: What is the most recent, interesting thing you had to learn to do for a specific project?

A: I recently went through picking a full interior palette with the team.  It was a learning experience for me coming from an exclusively architectural firm.

Q: What advice would you offer a young professional just starting in the industry? Is there something that you wish someone had told you?

A: Every day is a learning experience; surround yourself with people that will help you grow both in and out of the industry.
